A Look at the Counties: Improving the Quality of Water
Water quality is more of a concern for residents of Dutchess County than it is for residents within the other counties. Dutchess County residents give this issue an average score of 7.0 out of 10. This compares with the average rating of 6.5 the concern about the quality of home drinking water received five years ago from Dutchess County residents. It still only ranks thirteenth on the list of priorities for Dutchess County residents compared with its rank of fourteenth in the county in 2002.
