A Look at the Counties: Rating the Quality of Water and Air
Most residents in each of the seven counties are satisfied with the quality of the water and air in their community. Putnam and Sullivan County residents feel most positively. 80% of residents in these counties rate the water and air in their community as at least good.
In Orange County, even though 68% of residents rate the quality of the water and air in their community favorably, about three out of every ten residents in the county consider the quality to be just fair or poor.
